Aripov[edit]

Note that both the poet and the new prime minister are "Abdulla Aripov" in Russian, since both Uzbek O and A approximate to the same sound in Russian, and Voice of America and Reuters seem to have been translating Russian news reports. However it seems that most English book sources follow Uzbek latin script as O, as does usual en.wp Uzbek names. In ictu oculi (talk) 20:46, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
