Look before you edit[edit]

Please, please, please make sure you are looking at the correct awards show results when you change things. These are the Academy of Country Music Awards, not the Country Music Association Awards. The results for these can be found at ACMCountry.com if you wish to make sure you are correct. The ACM awards are held in May, while the CMA awards are held in the Fall. Years[edit]

I'm confused; the article states that "an award presented in 1999 is for achievement in 1998, i.e., the '1998' award," but then proceeds to refer to the awards by the years in which they were presented. Either that statement should be removed or all the years should be rolled back by one, because it doesn't make sense as it stands now. MikeND05 04:32, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Separate articles?[edit]

The Academy of Country Music is the organization that presents the ACM awards. Does anyone think the Academy of Country Music Awards should have its own page? --Alextwa (talk) 16:15, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I thought so too! Working on it! :) — WylieCoyote (talk) 21:36, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Don't Add Prematurely[edit]

People are adding Carrie Underwood as Top Female Vocalist before the award was announced. Please do not add winners prematurely, as Carrie Underwood did not win.--Emgee1129 (talk) 02:44, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
