To Whoever May Have Interest in Addax Petroleum's Wikipedia Page,

The information provided so far has been prepared by the External & Government Affairs Specialist of Addax Petroleum (myself). The decision was taken as prior to 30th Januray 2011 the Addax Petroleum page redirected to the Sinopec page, despite the fact that we are a distinct entity ith a very distinctive history, even though we are wholly-owned by the Sinopec Group (not Sinopec Corp)since a takeover in August 2009.

The information provided so far is 100% factual and we intend to add the multiple publicly information sources available in the coming days. Please understand that this task is a side-activity for me and that I cannot wholly devote myself to improving the company's Wikipedia profile.

Much of the history of Addax Petroleum is publicly available as the company was listed for several years on the Toronto and Londo stock exchanges. It is my hope to go beyond this type of information and provide the reader with insights into our company and operations.

I am fully open to constructive dialogue and suggestions and hope to bring our company page to the highest Wikipedia standard over the coming weeks.
