Question[edit]

I can't remember, did the show have a new theme every day, or the same theme for a whole week? If you know and have a source for that info, please post it here or in the article. Thanks. Softlavender (talk) 02:40, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From an Internet Archive snapshot of the official program schedule (taken on Jun 25, 2004), it looks like there was a new theme every program/weekday, although I don't know if that was the case for the entire run of the show. (all archives available, snapshot of the AIGM home page on Jun 25, 2004). Incidentally, there are three programs available for streaming at http://www2.wclv.com/aigm.html. Do you think they should be added as external links? Best, --Jh12 (talk) 20:27, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, great, add the streaming links of they are still viable links (perhaps test the streaming first). I'm listening to another radio program online now so I can't investigate them. I added the links! Thanks for the answer, too. Softlavender (talk) 08:53, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I listened to Haas often in the 1980s. I think it was something new every time.
Did he ever do a two-parter, carrying over his theme to the next programme? Hard to remember, but that is conceivable.
I used to hear him in Toronto from the Buffalo, New York broadcast.

Detroit Years[edit]

While the content of AIGM didn't change when it moved to Cleveland and into syndication, while at Detroit on WJR for its first 11 years, Mr. Haas always had a morning slot, and his opening salutation was "Good MORNING, everybody", with a strong emphasis on "morning". Syndication did not allow a predictable time slot, so he changed it to "HELLO everyone", again with an emphasis on "hello". Just sort of an FYI observation from someone who used to listen to him often during the Michigan years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mingpooh (talkcontribs) 16:06, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
