Split[edit]

For clarity's sake, the MMA arm of the Affliction empire should be moved to its own page. As Affliction's press release here notes, Affliction Clothing, Inc. is a separate entity from and does not control Affliction Entertainment, LLC, which is the promoter of the MMA events.[1] hateless 20:49, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, I'm going to split the pages now. --aktsu (t / c) 11:48, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vancouver[edit]

The part about Vancouver and Victoria is the first thing that comes to my eyes when I open this link. While it's interesting that a smaller North American city has problems with a particular line of clothing being worn by gang members, it's sort of misleading and possibly defaming. It's like saying that Mercedes Benz or Rolex have gang connections (not saying that Affliction is in anyway a comparable marque brand). I prepose it's rewritten or removed all together.

I am noticing a steady increase in negativity on the web, towards this brand, in correlation with the Vancouver thing. Except it is not gang-related, but usually websites associating Affliction with "douche-behavior". This is of course completely subjective, BUT considering the increasing number of clubs who ban Affliction in their dress code, due to the perceived image the brand has, it might be of interest to include a controversy section, if this trend persists. 2001:7E8:C658:8B01:F4:1F51:509E:23C1 (talk) 13:33, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit reverted[edit]

I've reverted an edit claiming to remove external links, but the edit also removed two references and added a tag.  Unscintillating (talk) 15:35, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
