Hello, fellow Wikipedia editors:

I've added an external link to the Black Legislators During Reconstruction entry in the New Georgia Encyclopedia. COI Disclosure: I'm an editor of the NGE, which is project of Georgia Humanities in partnership with the University of Georgia Press and University System of Georgia/GALILEO. All our articles are reviewed by scholars and fact-checked by UGA reference librarians.

Thank you, Sldevine (talk) 15:13, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Hello, Sldevine:
Thank you for adding the link to the NGE. I'm brand new to Wikipedia editing, and am currently about to disclose my potential COIs regarding the creation of an article for James Ward Porter, who is one of the few remaining gentlemen mentioned/linked in this article, under Georgia, but without an article of his own filled in. But, if you would be interested in writing the article, if you have time, I'd be delighted to help (I've begun by dumping some data into my sandbox for the start of an article).
Best,
Shira

COI declaration on requested new sub-article for this article: James Ward Porter

I'd like to request that someone else write this article to fill in the reference to James Ward Porter, of Georgia, but if the task falls to me, in a few weeks or so, then I need to declare my possible COI:

Best regards to all, Shira Destinie Jones Bourke Porter Shiradestinie (talk) 19:28, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

Mississippi

This photo of Mississippi legislators at the Library of Congress in whole and cropped for individuals would be great. FloridaArmy (talk) 23:57, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Louisiana

This image "EXTRACT FROM THE RECONSTRUCTED CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF LOUISIANA" discussed here of the governor and African American delegates to the Louisiana Constitutional Convention would be great to have for an illustration amd for entries on the individuals. I've seen other versions including on the Library of Congress website but they seem to be much inferior. FloridaArmy (talk) 15:07, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
