Missing[edit]

This article says nothing about Schiotz's quick and complete vocal undoing, due to cancer. It's as if it never happened. Vide http://www.bach-cantatas.com/Bio/Schiotz-Aksel.htm BonGens (talk) 04:29, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It says that he suffered a stroke and that this paralysed him, but my understanding is that he had an acoustic neuroma and that he suffered partial facial paralysis as a result of the surgery on the tumour. I'll try to research this some more. Ondewelle (talk) 08:32, 23 September 2010 (UTC), 23 September 2010[reply]

Date of Neuroma?[edit]

Other sources give 1946 as the date of his surgery. This makes more sense than 1945, given that he apparently sang at Glyndebourne that year and alternated with Pears in a tenor part. Anyone have a source for a definitive date? Cdixon (talk) 18:15, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
