Better be careful calling anyone a holocaust denier per WP:BLP and the fact that the main external link here is a Geocities website, failing WP:RS by a long shot.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 21:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 16:57, 27 August 2014 (UTC) This is pointless because the founder of Revision is very proud of his being a revisionist.[reply]

It is incredible[edit]

just how poor this article is! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (talkcontribs) 14:18, 30 August 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]

Now that I have introduced information about the AME (Association contre la mutilation des enfants), the great advantage of this article is disclosing that Revision and the AME were founded by the same group of neo-Nazis. Indeed, though Revision has disappeared, the AME is still very active pretending to be lay but practising masked antiSemitism. I wish to replace: ""He was in correspondence with Guy Debord" by: "He wrote a "Letter to guy Debord" that has been archived by the latter in his "Lettres reçues" (received letters)." Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 03:28, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As this article has been the subject of edit warring, you will need to discuss and get consensus for all changes. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:29, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it seems that no one discusses the obvious: "He was in correspondence with Guy Debord." is unaccurate since Debord did receive Guionnet's letter but never answered. So, the change must be done. Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 09:21, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"... you may submit an edit request to ask an administrator to make an edit if it is uncontroversial..." This edit being an "Obvious factual error" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Minor_edit#When_to_mark_an_edit_as_a_minor_edit), consensus is not required. I realize that the first paragraph of the original article (here below) has disappeared, likely by my mistake; it should be put back.

Alain Guionnet (born april 22 1954) is a French negationist [1].

Hi, Martin! I can't find your comment, where is it? Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 08:48, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Preceding text with <!-- and following it with --> is the way of commenting it out. See Wikipedia:Markup#Invisible text (comments). --David Biddulph (talk) 08:55, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, David, this is a little complicated to me; I understand that I will only be able to see that comment when the article will be unprotected (10 October). Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 09:12, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This sentence should be rubbed out as unfounded and misleading: "His friend Serge Thion presented Noam Chomsky to the French audience in the late 70's.[5]" Indeed, first, there is no proof that Guionnet and Thion would have been friends, second and above all, Chomsky is definitely an anti-Nazi, so that that sentence is misleading, insinuating that Guionnet too, might have been antiNazi!!! No comments from others, so  Done — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:31, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Martin; this was very useful since Guionnet himself or one of his friends likely wrote that lie! Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 08:49, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The title of the bottom-of-the-page link: "Revision's website" is false; indeed, it leads to Guionnet's personal page and there is no REVISION webiste. It is now obvious to me that the whole article has been written by Guionnet himself or one of his friends of the AME. So that everything must be checked. You didn't specify what you wanted done with this link. I have removed it for now. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:33, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Martin! You did well merely suppressing that link. Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 08:54, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsensical deletion of precious information[edit]

Someone suppressed the irreplacable information about the Guionnet's (togheher with Valla and Diers) foundation of the Association contre la mutilation des enfants. However, it was alluded to in Erlich's article that I brought and that escaped the deleting of most of the information that costed me so much to gather in the Bibliothèque Nationale. But Erlich did not find out that Guionnet founded the AME. I chanced to do it through asking the Service des Associations of the Préfecture de Boulogne ; they sent me one of the records of the AME that proves that foundation. The person who deleted my information gave a nonsensical justification for his deleting: I'm the author of the copy and of its publication on the net! This is insane since a proof is a proof and whoever contests it must prove that the proof wouldn't be a proof. The only way for that is going to the source: the Préfecture de Boulogne... For lack of doing that work, deleting is paranoid, insane acting out. This is why I'm asking for my informations to be put back into place.

It is obvious that the secondary source rule does not apply to raw sources that cannot be compared with "references". Raw sources are not references; they are mere non litterary facts that do not need to be peer-reviewed.

I will certainly not put back that information myself; I would be accused of edit-warring by the edit-warrior! Michel Hervé Bertaux-Navoiseau (talk) 19:19, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Revert[edit]

Excuse me, David Eppstein, for having curtly reverted your edit, that wasn't my intent. I have masked birthplace, and think it would suffice. Wouldn't it ? NAH 16:58, 13 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]

It fixes the immediate WP:BLP issue at least. The infobox still doesn't look very informative to me, though. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:08, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK. I think it is a little "plus" for an article which is rather short. NAH 18:07, 13 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]
David Eppstein, if you want to verify the sources and the material being added by the new user, that's fine, but they are obviously having trouble editing the article in an appropriate manner. I reverted their last changes.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:28, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The only thing I verified was that they had agreed to my removal of an unsourced birthplace. —David Eppstein (talk) 18:34, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Bbb23, you said "you're going to have to learn how to edit before you can touch articles": excuse me, that's not very fine. Which is more, I brang a source, and you reverted this! And I'm not a new user, please see my "User contributions". NAH 18:57, 13 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]
And I allow myself to insist to put back the infobox. NAH 19:08, 13 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]
You're right, you're not a new user, although you don't have many edits here. You're obviously an experienced editor at fr-wiki. Why don't you try doing this? First, don't add an infobox; we can discuss the utility and formatting of it later. Add the date of birth to the body of the article with your source, and add the other material with sources as well. That way we'll progress, and I apologize for being unduly harsh.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:12, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I appreciate your message. I'll follow your guidance. (For my part, sorry for my bad english.) NAH 19:47, 13 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]
Votre anglais n'est pas idiomatique, mais ce n'est pas mauvais. San doute meilleur que mon francais.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:18, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to put links on Chebel d'Appollonia and Laqueur's names, but didn't succeed. NAH 20:30, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed them for you.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:43, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
