Notable Teachers[edit]

  • Is this section really necessary? How are the teachers notable? It seems to be a simple list of the teachers from the high school. Perhaps a note for each teacher mentioning HOW they are "notable" would help. As is, I find the section unnecessary and of no value. It has been removed and later re-added by the same unregistered wikipedian. - Seinfreak37 14:55, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The teachers are all teachers who lead the preAP, GT, or AP classes. They are notable for this reason. Others schools, colleges and universtities include this info as well. How is having this type of info about teachers and students not appropriate. It only lends to the usability and integrity of Wikipedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ahdustin (talkcontribs) 04:54, 23 February 2006.

Removed content[edit]

For the reasons mentioned above, I've removed the Notable Teachers section, condensed the athletics section, and removed the all-state band students' names. As Jersyko mentioned above (make sure to check the link he provided), Wikipedia is not for listing any and all information pertaining to your school. All-state band is a nice achievement, but it isn't noteworthy in an encyclopediac sense. Similarly, there are thousands upon thousands of AP teachers in the country. That doesn't mean that they are not good people, but it does mean that they must have something of exceeding interest to merit their listing here — for example, a significant achievement in that teacher's field, such as some sort of national award. Cheerleading = not true[edit]

Junior Varsity CANNOT win a state championship

Notable Alumni[edit]

Some of the people in the alumni section are questionable... The ones I'm having doubts about are "Elias 'Louie' Karam", "Kenneth Key Hoffman IV", and "Anthony Tyrone Jerome Knowles". Can anyone provide valid sources for those people? szupie (talk) 23:50, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revision of Article[edit]

I have added verifiable links to the athletics section along with updates to the infobox and relocation of the alumni section. Hopefully, this will make the article more interesting. Indyjrg1762 (talk) 02:58, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
