Cabinet reshuffle, 1986[edit]

"Dukes remained in the Department of Finance until the withdrawal of the Labour Party members from the government in late 1986. As part of the subsequent reshuffle, he was appointed Minister for Justice."

This surely can't be exactly true as it stands, because the Labour Party didn't leave the coalition until 20 January 1987. Yet it seems there was a cabinet reshuffle in 1986. I will look up some sources and rejig the paragraph as appropriate. Harfarhs (talk) 21:27, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, found it. 13 February 1986, "biggest reshuffle since 1939". Not the sort of event where one imagines many mistakes being made over its date. Harfarhs (talk) 22:04, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
