Symbol opinion vote.svg Comment: Is there any more information about him? What was his US Army service? (Did he fight in the wars against the Native Americans?) Robert McClenon (talk) 19:36, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

-Not that I know of thanks for asking. Jon

Symbol opinion vote.svg Comment: If this draft is accepted, an entry will need to be added to the disambiguation page for the primary name. The disambiguation page for the primary name is Al Harrington (disambiguation). Robert McClenon (talk) 19:27, 22 May 2020 (UTC)

Reviewer Note[edit]

This is one of the cases where someone about whom there is documentation one hundred fifty years later can be assumed notable. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:39, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The most recent source is from 1914, a short obituary published at the time of his death. Robert McClenon, how does this person meet WP:GNG? – Jonesey95 (talk) 23:15, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
User:Jonesey95 - He is mentioned in two sources and is discussed as a contributor to the development of Minnesota in the early twentieth century. I will acknowledge that I take an inclusionist view of notability of persons who lived a hundred years or longer ago. (Correction: The obituary was 100 years ago, not 150.) I am prepared to !vote Keep if the article is nominated for deletion, unless a Merge or Redirect target is identified. Robert McClenon (talk) 04:26, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't like the drama of XFD discussions either, so I will leave the nomination to someone else, but I don't think this should have been accepted. There is no significant coverage at all, just a couple of minor mentions of a locally known business owner. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:30, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
See Acceptance of Biographies. Those are my opinions. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:33, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
