Alcoy (Spain) → Alcoy, Spain — The new name would be more in accordance with other Spanish place names. Jezhotwells (talk) 14:43, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Jezhotwells, it should be moved to be more similar to other place names which use a comma instead of brackets. JaumeBG 01:44, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support - the , Spain is the best disambiguation for this. To completely fix this it will take a history merge though. There is a cut and paste move involved here. This edit changed Alcoy, Spain into a redirect. Then 2 minutes later this edit changed Alcoy (Spain) from a redirect into basically the same article. ~~ GB fan ~~ 06:35, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

The town is Valencian-speaking, the official name is bilingual, and the entry Alcoi is a redirection to Alcoy (SPAIN). It would make more sense to make Alcoi the main name of the article.--TaronjaSatsuma (talk) 12:34, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
