Aldehyde oxidase/dehydrogenase[edit]

There is a huge mistake in a redirect associated with this article. When one is looking for aldehyde oxidase, which is a molybdenum containing protein, one is redirected to aldehyde dehydrogenases which are not molybdenum containing proteins. Yes, xanthine oxidase and xanthine dehydrogenase which are molybdenum containing proteins are basically the same protein but this doesn't hold for aldehyde oxidase and aldehyde dehydrogenases. With the redirect from aldehyde oxidase to here the actual aldehyde oxidase is lost. Please, take out that redirect from aldehyde oxidase to here. User:209.159.149.166 18:49, 9 October 2010

Good catch. The aldehyde oxidase page used to be an independent article and not a redirect. I have reconverted "aldehyde oxidase" from a redirect into a enzyme specific page. Boghog (talk) 16:14, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In part of the text the cofactor is described as NAD(P)H, not NADH. Philip Jewess — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.186.224.227 (talk) 17:32, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
