Which Senators move?[edit]

The article reads,

His grandfather was general counsel for the Washington Senators from the late 1960s until the team moved to Texas in 1971 in a sale that he negotiated, and he helped the club sign Hall of Famer Ted Williams as the team's general manager.

But the apparent source reads,

His law firm also represented the Washington Senators baseball team, and it was Bregman who negotiated the sale of the team, which moved to Minneapolis and became the Twins. He later negotiated the hiring of baseball great Ted Williams as the manager for a new Washington Senators expansion team.^[1]

An additional problem is that neither move involved a sale. The Senators/Twins remained under Griffith family ownership from 1920 until 1984. The Senators/Rangers moved after the 1971 season but weren't sold until 1974. -- Pemilligan (talk) 04:27, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: That source code is the for the padlock icon that shows in the top right corner of the page. This icon indicates that the article has protection and there is no reason why it should be removed unless the page is not protected, which is not the case here. In the 2023 regular season with the Astros, Bregman batted .262/.363/.441 in 622 at bats, with 103 runs (3rd in the American League), 25 home runs, 98 RBIs (6th), 92 walks (3rd), and 87 strikeouts, with 7.1 at-bats-per-strikeout (3rd), as his range factor/game of 2.44 was third-best among AL third basemen.^[1] He was in the top 5% in the majors in strikeout percentage, whiff percentage, and chase percentage.^[2] Through the end of the 2023 season, he was among the top-10 Astros career leaders in doubles (235; 8th), home runs (165; 8th), OPS (.861; 5th), OBP (.373; 8th), slugging percentage (.487; 8th), runs (615; 10th), RBIs (588; 10th), and walks (532; 10th).^[3]

“A head shorter than his 5’4 inch mother”, is not appropriate and not provable. A “head” is not a unit of measurement, and this type of exaggeration is inappropriate based on the lack of sourcing.
