I have great memories of your uncle although I never saw him play. He had a temendous striking record and it has always been a mystery to me why he disappeared from the scene so rapidly whilst it would appear he was still at his peak. Something seems to have gone wrong for him at Birmingham City perhaps injury, and it would be of great interest to me to know the full story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.78.18 (talk) 17:00, 8 July 2009

moved from article by Struway2 (talk) 09:38, 6 August 2009 (UTC) I am a Man City Fan and was born in 1955...Alex scored a goal during one of the games in the first season i began watching City with one of my neighbours and his Dad. Alex was a terrific player and I too don't know why he went off the scene although I heard rumours that he had personal problems.Although he was only with City for one season he still goes down as one of the best players we have ever had. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.209.73.67 (talk) 12:10, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My name is Alex Harley and live in Kilmarnock although originally from west side of Glasgow. I am related to Alex and was raised by my dad about Harley, Hilley and Gray and of course the "Thirds". Hopefully you see this and we can get in touch.
