Ukrainian Sports Hall of Fame[edit]

When he appeared on Grumpy Old Men in 2005, Jezza made mention that he was inducted in the Ukrainian Sporting Hall of Fame. I can find no record of this on Google. Anyone? Peter1968 16:53, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jezza left Carlton because of in fighting in the club placing his loyalty to the club president who was replaced
Alrighty then, but anyone know anything about the Ukrainian Sporting Hall of Fame? Peter1968 16:09, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't look like it mate :( Rogerthat Talk 10:29, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There is Ukrainian Museum of Sporting Fame in Kyiv. It doesn't have own web site, but it is mentioned on some other web sites. For example here: http://www.moemisto.com.ua/afisha/place/300 By the way, I'm sure that the right way to write his name in Ukrainian is this: Олександр Єсауленко (both first and last names are very common in Ukraine). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.215.72.25 (talk) 01:24, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Found a reference for it here - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/teams/jesaulenko-you-beauty/story-e6frf9n6-1111116285871. Peter Greenwell (talk) 03:05, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mark of the Century[edit]

Jesaulenko, you beauty!

Errr... the article does not link to a pic of the mark, which seems to me to be a serious ommission. Not like it's hard to find:

Now, I am not going to upload a pic, but I can't see why we shouldn't link to another page with it in. ThreeVryl 11:58, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jezza's Brother[edit]

Jezza was named after his brother - who was lost in the war (WW II). Years later he surfaced and came to Australia to visit. I don't remember the details.. Anyone know more? (I named my daughter - Alexandra Jessica - after Jezza. He's the man) --Commking 01:59, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Youtube links aren't being used as a source. They're simply complimentary to the article. Please see WP:YT for more info. --Superflewis (talk) 04:52, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alex in Canberra[edit]

There was a time between 1987 and 1994 that Alex Jesaulenko coached the Belconnen Blues in the ACTAFL. I played darts with him in the social club there a few times. 220.235.51.117 (talk) 14:25, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
