Birthdate[edit]

If Alexandre Pato's birthdate is recorded in other publicly available sources, it should be restored to the article. WP:BLP#Privacy of birthdays is intended for "marginally notable people or non-public figures". I can't tell from a quick Google search whether this young soccer star qualifies or not — I hope the regular editors of this article will be able to discern better. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 08:17, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So does this mean that Pato considering his birthday was 3months before his 1st match(He was 18years and just under 3months old)is the youngest goal scorer in Italian Football on record or is there another player that was younger than this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.242.24.99 (talk) 05:10, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Appearances with Milan[edit]

Senior club appearances and goals are counted for the domestic league only and Pato has only played with Milan in a friendly match against Dinamo Kiev so he debuted or scored with Milan yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PabloClark (talkcontribs) 01:24, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

he made his debut against torine and scored 2 goals, but they were beat 4-3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.66.96.132 (talk) 10:08, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Picture[edit]

Could someone please find a new picture of Alex? Maybe the current one could be placed further down in the article, while the newer one could have a head-on shot to make it look more like a profile. Thanks.

Chelsea links[edit]

Take it down. It's been nothing but rumors so far.

- Remember to sign any posts you make in the discussion page. I've removed some personal opinions and any rumors about links. This is purely an encyclopedia page, not an opinion article. While I love Pato and think he is a fantastic player (as well as being a Milan fan), we need to keep these pages objective and professional. Gcarini (talk) 21:36, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Early career[edit]

Alexandre Pato never ever stayed in Gremio. He never was refused by this club and then accepted by the International, he was always the Sport Club Internacional. The text should tell the truth about Pato, better inform themselves about the Pato here:http://www.alexandrepatooficial.com.br/; http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandre_Pato

Pato is still a AC Milan player.[edit]

Don't edit him as a Corinthians player until it's official. As it is he is still listed on the AC Milan website as their player and the transfer window isn't even open yet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.226.70.116 (talk) 22:39, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date[edit]

Infobox says 2nd September 1989. Article opening says September 1st 1989, so which is correct? Matt G (talk) 23:46, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pato does not play for Liverpool. He plays for Sao Paulo on loan from Corinthians. 72.16.164.141 (talk) 21:44, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Says that he has moved to chelsea for £12m in the loan to Chelsea section which is incorrect. Also Chelsea have not yet confirmed this loan move

The lame edit war[edit]

To ips

According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (sports teams), since the lede already stated Pato is a footballer, so no need to add FC behind São Paulo (i.e. pipe the club name as it: São Paulo) Matthew hk (talk) 18:37, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is a discussion on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football section Precaution about recent edit activity on this page and Hernanes between IP addresses (similar to above) and registered users. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:24, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
