Merging

All these articles are stubs, why? They are essentially about the same subject - Predator film licence games - and should have started on their parent article page - Alien 3. According to Wikipedia guidelines fictional topics should generally work out as such:- 1) The main article is formed (in this case the film article) with section(s) on games. 2) The main article cannot hold the expanding games section(s) 3) A separate games article is formed 4) Certain games sections grow too large and expand into their own article (as long as they have enough real world information)

This process is ignored too often, it should be utilized here.

Examples of film franchise video games sections in the same article:

There are way too many completely different games based on Alien 3 for me to feel very comfortable with seeing them put into a larger "Alien computer and video games" article, but it might be possible. I think a better course of action would be to create an 'Alien 3 computer and video games' article with various headings for the Genesis/Game Gear/Commodore game, the arcade game, the SNES game, the NES game and the Game Boy game, which are all distinct from one another. After all, most of not all of these game pages could (and should) be expanded beyond their current state, and if that happens, I don't think there'd be ample room for us to ALSO start cover Alien for the Spectrum or Atari 2600, Aliens arcade and multiple home versions (two separate ones on PC alone), Alien Resurrection, Alien Trilogy, Aliens: Thanatos Encounter, etc etc ad nauseum. And then the next question would be "Should we put Alien and Predator games together because of those franchises being merged in recent years?" which would create an additional nightmare. So anyway, my recommended course would be to put these existing stubs into an "Alien 3 computer and video games" page most likely. --Bishop2 (talk) 14:17, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
