The following has been moved from tne main page. It is unsourced and reads like personal observation rather than being encyclopaedic information:

"The bells have not had any major work undertaken on them since around 1939, and as such are in very poor condition which, when coupled with the fact that they are hung on plain bearings which are not regularly lubricated, makes them very difficult to ring for the small band of regular ringers who meet there on Tuesday evenings. Because there are so few ringers there is no ringing for Sunday services, and all eight bells are only rung on special occasions if extra ringers from the other local towers can be sourced."
