Vandalism

Not sure why, but this page has been the repeated target of vandalism over the last few days. Several anon IPs (which I am guessing are related) have changed her year of birth from 1971 to 1968. As IMDB says she was born in 1971, I have treated these edits as unconstructive and reverted them. Any comments? Paul20070 (talk) 19:18, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Married?

It says in the article that Amanda was married to Les Dennis but who is she married to now? Who is he father of her daughter? 82.38.83.222 (talk) 20:02, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I think his name is Chris Hughes. Paul20070 (talk) 20:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
It is Chris Hughes. Apparently, he's a music producer (see this link). Not sure whether they're actually married though as IMDB does not make this clear. Paul20070 (talk) 20:12, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you! 82.38.83.222 (talk) 20:53, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Best Known

The section on the subject's TV career contradicts itself. It starts by saying she is best known for her role in the Grimleys, and later claims she is "perhaps best known" for her role in Cutting It. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.7.10.167 (talk) 19:23, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Another contradiction occurs near the end of Ms. Holden's TV career section: She was invited to co-host the CBS Early Show on June 1, 2009. That did take place, but the claim made that she is to host it "on Mondays" (as in every week) cites a Mediabistro article which does not indicate that she's been asked to do so. In addition, there are no other known references to her becoming a permanent fixture on the CBS program, so the plural "Mondays" wording makes no sense. A clarification is needed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.84.173.29 (talk) 16:25, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

I changed it to say she confirmed she would host the show. As 1 June has now been and gone, we need to establish whether she actually did so. Does anybody know? TheRetroGuy (talk) 18:11, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
She did. TheRetroGuy (talk) 17:10, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Chris Hughes

I reverted this edit but am now wondering if that is the correct Chris Hughes. I notice there's nothing about Amanda Holden in his biography. Can anyone clear this matter up? Paul Largo (talk) 19:33, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Ghastly Picture

Someone change that picture ASAP. It won't make Amanda look bad - nothing can make her look bad. It will make Wikipedia look STUPID for picking a Cruella de Ville sketch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.221.34.20 (talk) 21:11, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

I sort of agree that it's not exactly very flattering, although I can live with it personally. If you don't like it, however, why not create an account and then look for a better image to upload. Take a look at this link for more details. TheRetroGuy (talk) 21:15, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
To me it looks like something one might see during a nightmare. Let's find a nicer one. Paul Largo (talk) 18:29, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm going to remove it. It doesn't look good and doesn't particularly resemble the subject either. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 21:17, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Meaning not clear

She successfully auditioned for the independent drama school Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in the Wood Green area of North London when she was 18 and left in July 1992 with an agent.

Did she elope with an agent? Or what? Britmax (talk) 08:41, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
