Marathon would have been on her 44th birthday surely according to the dates given ( 1968 year of birth and 2012 marathon ) . Makes one wonder how much of the article is correct when something so simple is obviously wrong at first sight . Following cursory glances at news reports from the time Amanda seems to agree it was her 45th birthday .
