Reasons for fixing birthday as 1910[edit]

Whilst I understand that the newspaper articles tend to indicate a 1911 birth, the work done by the AFL historians is generally a lot more than newspaper reporters - and there are some reports of the day that match a 1910 birthday.(http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article181683196 and http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article4241941, although I also found some that match a 1911 birthyear - http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/183001637) The absolute proof, however, is that if you search for an Ambrose Palmer with a 1909-1910 range at the Victorian BDM registration webstie, you find 1 record, but none with a 1911-1912 year range.
