Elimination order and table[edit]

I see that there is some disagreement about the performance order. I am not bothered about what the elimination order is, but this is the order as given in the tour - you can see Katie Stevens given as #8 at the start of this Youtube video [1]. Same for Season 8 tour - you can see that Anoop Desai was given as #6 ([2] in the first second of the video), and you can hear Lil Rounds being announced as #7 - [3]. For Season 9 I also have a vague memory of a pre-tour interview on Larry King Live where the contestants said which order they are in. It could be argued that the order the contestants were given is just for convenience and may not be what happened on the TV show, which is why I'm not bothered what the elimination order is, but just giving out what is known about the tour.

The table is necessary so that it can be consistent across all year. In some year the performance order is all jumbled up, also in Season 2 it wasn't the Top 10 that toured, so it can get confusing about who the performers might be if not listed. I also think a table would look much neater than a list and easily to read. Hzh (talk) 11:26, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
