George Amlin[edit]

A non-logged-in editor added about football player George Amlin in this edit. Another editor deleted that for reason that no source was provided upfront. Looking quickly, i found this page confirming George Amlin's record of scoring 1048. Are there other on-line or not on-line sources, like newspaper articles from Ohio newspapers, or record books, that could be used to support info to be added back? --doncram (talk) 13:10, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How unusual that you happen to pay attention to so many obscure articles that I edit. We don't include sections like this even if sources are provided, save a simple mention in a Notable natives and residents section, and that's only if the person has an article, which he doesn't. What's more, the addition was simply wrong: Amlin is not a village, and as far as I can tell, it never has been. Nyttend (talk) 13:24, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
