Is it appropriate for Amy's extremely unfunny joke that she was told not to say at the Oscars to have a place on this page?

It looks to me that the joke theft section has been completely removed? it's enough that media outlets have complied lists of thefts.

It's not "completely removed". See Amy Schumer#In the media: In January 2016, Schumer was accused of stealing jokes from comedians Tammy Pescatelli, Kathleen Madigan, Wendy Liebman, and Patrice O'Neal. Schumer denied the allegations. Other comedians, such as Marc Maron and Dave Rubin, defended Schumer. October 2023[edit]

Amy's support for Israel and the very problematic posts she has shared need be urgently added to her page. What is the delay with this? Having a locked page goes against the very ethos of Wikipedia and to be honest, in a new era of very organised boycotts, Wikipedia will become irrelevant if it looks like you are promoting censorship in this way. Speaking of censorship, it should also be added to Schumer's page that herself, Sacha Baron Cohen and Debra Messing privately lobbied TikTok to suppress content critical of Israel this past week. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amelia7117 (talk • contribs) 21:14, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. A "Controversies" section should added. Schumer has taken a very far right wing, ethno-religio-nationalist position on the current Likud coalition government's ethnic cleansing efforts. She is absolutely not "far right wing, ethno-religio-nationalist' advocating for 'ethnic cleansing or cultural genocide' - that is what Hamas believes, she just believes that an internationally recognized legitimate democratic Jewish state has a right to exist. Unclear language[edit]

In 2017, a video showcasing all cases of alleged joke thefts were collated in a 26-minute compilation on YouTube by The Tangerine Show, garnering more than 8.8 million views as of May 2023."

Controversy section[edit]

I get people don't want this page vandalized due to comments Amy has made on social media, but at the very least is owed a controversy section. Amy Schumer 2007 co-founder of the Collective[edit]

Can it be added under her early career first paragraph that she, Kevin Kane and others co-founded The Collective, which is a boundary-pushing theater group that publishes, performs and promotes work "that is emotionally truthful, socially relevant, and defiantly accessible."
