Moved from the article[edit]

Concerning the Imam Abu Hanifa this famous Mujtahid accept obviously the narrations reported by the companions; As a proof one can consult the traditions quoted in the "musnad abi hanifah', or also those in the book of hadith of hanafi scholars (like the "muwatta" of Imam Mouhammad or the "Cha'rh Ma'âniyoul Âthâr" of the Imâm At Tahâwi) to be convinced.

Furtheremore, the scholars even report that the Imam Abu Hannifa was a Tâbéï and note among the companions that he could have seen the companion Anas Ibnou Mâlik.

The fact Imam Abu Hannifa does not take systematically the ahadith reported by the companions rather than others, cannot be interpreted like a rejection of the Prophetic traditions. In which case the same accusation can be thrown to Imâm Mâlik, Imâm Ach Shâféï, Imâm Ahmad and thousands of other scholars who gives often a preference in one hadith over another (tard'jîh) in their ijtihad.

Finally when one sees the following sentence (from the first critic of Abu Hannifah saying He doesn't uses hadith of some companions):

"Moreover, in his commentary on Muslim's Sahih, Volume IV, Nadwi emphasizes this point: "

One can easily points out the lack of accuracy and lack of information since An Nadawi has never written any commentary of the Sahih Muslim. The one who did it was An Nawawi

Shia/Sunni edit wars[edit]

This page appears to be alternating between Sunnis replacing Striver's Shia perspective on this person, and Striver then characterizing their edits as vandalism and replacing it with his WP:OWN. Can we not integrate these two competing versions? Esquizombi 08:53, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only edit i characterized as vandalism. --Striver 16:50, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
