He is dead[edit]

Therefore he WAS a general, no need anymore to use present terms.

Useable Sources[edit]

Here are a handful of sources around General Simonov's death. Moscow Times, Buisness Insider, and Politico. Here regional sources Albanian Daily News, Times of Isreal that give greater context.

None of this is solid confirmation of his death, but the Kyiv Post source is not adequate in addressing this (likely a primary source and obviously has a slant). It's not awful on its own but should be supplemented with better sources. Etrius ( Us) 22:34, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Any Update?[edit]

it has been 15 months. Has Russian media commented on his death? either saying that it did or did not happen? has he been seen in the last 15 months? can we safely change his death to confirmed or disproved now? Scu ba (talk) 15:56, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah gotta second this question. No signs of the guy in over a year and a half now? Jjazz76 (talk) 17:33, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
