Youngest Fellow of All Souls ever?[edit]

Nonsense. Just to take one example - Robert Gentili, son of Alberico Gentili, was elected to a fellowship aged 17 in 1607 Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. Quotation from the source: "in 1607 he was elected, while below the statutory age, to a fellowship of All Souls College. His father had campaigned vigorously for this, enlisting the personal intervention of the king and devising the legal quibble that, just as a debt that is seventeen days and one minute overdue may be regarded as eighteen days overdue, so Robert, who was seventeen and a fraction years old, should be regarded as in effect eighteen, and therefore of the statutory age after all".
