Who is Andrew North?[edit]

Andrew North is linked as BBC Foreign Correpsondent. He is defenitely not Andi Norton, a fantasy writer from the us, whos page your automatically forwarded to, if you're looking for Andrew North.

We don't have an article on Mr North yet. Ms Norton used "Andrew North" as a nom de plume on several occasions, and thus it's a redirect to her name until such time as someone creates an article on Mr North. DS (talk) 18:54, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
now at least we seem to have a stable entry that people can find. Hundnase (talk) Hundnase (talk) 05:32, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I thought that BBC main correspondents with an extensive track record of coverage, plus the high profile arrest by Taliban (covered in all sorts of outlets, Newsweek, Guardian, etc) would meet notability requirement. Hundnase (talk)

see here -- it seems customary to list BBC journalists, because of their exceptional reach, and this continues for former correspondents whose work remains online https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:BBC_newsreaders_and_journalists -- strong argument, in my view, to remove the Q re notability Hundnase (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 06:20, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
