Birthyear[edit]

That she was born in 1785 is unfounded. Her own daughter Rosina, states in her autobiography manuscript that she (Rosina) was born in 1802 and that she was the FIFTH daughter. Her mother Anna was certainly not giving birth at age 11 or something.Wjhonson (talk) 02:43, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wjhonson, you are clearly right, and I have made it "c. 1780", based on some new sources I have added. I think that's the best we can do for now. Moonraker (talk) 07:16, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

The website Womenphilosophers.com is the personal website of Kate Lindemann, who whatever other credits she might have is not a third-party-vetted, published writer in this particular field of biography. As such I'm going to remove all references to that website shortly. Please do not add those back until you can show that the author is an acknowledged published vetted authority in this field.Wjhonson (talk) 16:43, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
