Reasons for reverting a good-faith edit[edit]

I have reverted this good-faith edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Annie_Get_Your_Gun_-_1986_London_Cast&diff=498811490&oldid=498642442. The edit summary was "cleanup - removing Quatro info not relevant to album and certainly pictures have no place here". My reasons are given below. Please add any comments after the relevant bullet point — Peter Loader (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Put back the bold formatting for the alternative names of the album (in the lead section). Reason: these names are redirects to the article and "it will often be appropriate to bold the redirected term" according to the principle of least astonishmentPeter Loader (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Put back the reason why Quatro is notable (in the lead section) and the details of what she achieved (in the Background section). Reason: "it should not be assumed that the reader is familiar with the artist's history and/or previously released albums. If it's necessary to put these items into context for the reader to further his understanding of later content in the article, a background section is suggested. This section should discuss previous occasions in the artist's history and important events that had an impact on the album." See Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Article body#Background and Talk:Suzi Quatro#Empowering women?. TODO: the text needs updating in line with the subsequent discussion at Talk:Suzi Quatro#Empowering women?Peter Loader (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Put back the paragraph in the lead section about the real-life Butler and Oakley. TODO: it would be better to move this paragraph to the Background section instead of deleting it. Reason: the lead section was too long, but some readers of the article may not know that the musical is based (loosely) on real people and events — Peter Loader (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Even after putting back the deleted images, Peer Reviewer continues to moan that there were too few of them — Peter Loader (talk) 19:41, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • In the Release history section, put back the correct catalogue number for the 1995 CD release and the 1986 cassette release. Also put back the 1986, 1996, and 2001 CD releases and the deleted catalogue numbers. Updated the AllMusic citation to use Wayback. Reason: all of the original information was backed by citations but the AllMusic citation now redirects to an equivalent web page that does not contain release information — Peter Loader (talk) 20:12, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
