I changed the article's name to follow the WikiProject: Comics naming conventions. Lang has only used one codename, so there was no need for the article to be named by his alter ego alone. Rajah1 22:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

LA Times: "Marvel games to get a whole lot more 'Ant-Man' content"[edit]

Infobox image[edit]

That infobox image is completely inappropriate: Cluttered, odd angle, you can't make out lower half of costume. It needs to be replaced in order to satisfy infobox standards. This one is simply decorative so it s WP:NONFREE vio as well. --Tenebrae (talk) 19:52, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Strong Oppose Wikipedia:Naming conventions (comics) clearly states that when character is well known by a codename and there are multiple users of said codename, it should be codename (real name). Comment: There is a reason why Greg Saunders (the first Vigilante), Adrian Chase (the second Vigilante, but Prometheus on Arrow), Hal Jordan (the second Green Lantern), Barbara Gordon (the second Batgirl) Wally West (the third Flash and first Kid Flash), Eddie Brock (the first to use the Venom name), Cletus Kasady (the first Carnage), Mac Gargan (the third Scorpion), Carol Danvers (the seventh Captain Marvel) and Anne Weying (the first She-Venom) are titled as such. Netoholic and Cuchullain gave good reasons at Adrian Chase's talk page why the page had to be moved from "Vigilante (Adrian Chase)" and I'm pretty sure their reasons apply here too. Users may say that Scott Lang has only one alias (Ant-Man), hence the reason this shouldn't be moved. But the Ultimate Marvel version of him is Giant-Man (the Ultimate Marvel stories are canon), and even the MCU Scott Lang has temporarily been Giant-Man. --Kailash29792 (talk) 07:18, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - I'm skeptical that "Scott Lang" is as recognizable and identifiable as "Ant-Man". I also think the examples given are cherry picked and unsuitable to this specific situation. Most of them are characters who have used more than one significant codename. Despite the reference to an alternate universe codename for an alternate universe Scott Lang, this is the only significant codename he's known by. This is more in line with a situation like Nova (Richard Rider), Nova (Sam Alexander), Nova (Frankie Raye), or Quasar (Wendell Vaughn). Argento Surfer (talk) 19:57, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Amusing[edit]

The current version of the page reads "Rudd reprises his role in Avengers: Endgame [...] where he returns from the Quantum Realm five years after Thanos wipes out half the life in the universe due to a rat unwittingly activating the control pad for the quantum tunnel."
