Untitled[edit]

I've been working on expanding this article, and while it's not perfect or all-encompassing, it doesn't really qualify as a stub anymore. So I've removed the stub tag. Macavity7 11:02, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of Wit[edit]

I added examples of Lane's wit on the theory that showing was better than telling. I did and do worry that I didn't take the examples from reviews which cited these passages so that if I should be faulted on this ground I would have no rejoinder-- but to find and use examples which have been cited. But, that said, I do think these stand up as representative samples.Meb53 22:58, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not married?[edit]

In an interview at identitytheory.com, Lane refers to “my wife”; the introduction refers to “his wife (writer Allison Pearson”… Similarly in the Telegraph.
