Untitled[edit]

My curiosity demanded that I do more research, and I was able to track down winners all the way back to 1997. It appears the awards originated in 1996 (see the Tidbits link, as well as the math from many pages referring to the Xth annual awards), as the Human Interface Design Excellence (HIDE) awards, but I can find no list of winners from this time. Anyone who can dig up a 1996 list of winners gets a gold star from me.

I added winners for 2005, currently available on the ADA page, at http://developer.apple.com/ada/, as well as 2004-2000, available through the Wayback Machine, at http://web.archive.org/web/20040703061035/http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/ada/2004winners.html (2004) and http://web.archive.org/web/20040627075240/developer.apple.com/wwdc/ada_previous.html (2003-2000). More official sources would be great, but Apple doesn't seem to keep any real archive of this (which is part of the reason for the heavy edit of this page).

As noted in the edit notes, formatting updates are quite welcome.

Retitle to List of[edit]

This page should probably be moved to "List of Apple Design Awards" for consistency with Wikipedia's naming conventions. Since this is essentially just a list. -- œ 18:42, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree; the article could be expanded with more information and context on the ADAs. DFlhb (talk) 15:15, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
