Thanks for uploading the graphic Max, but my Apple Menu doesn't actually mention the app's name unless I'm holding down the Shift Key. Also, it might be a little more encyclopedic to remove your name by first creating a generic user account, perhaps called "User" and taking a new screen snapshot of that Apple menu instead. I added some info on System 7.5's Apple menu options Control Panel. I also removed the "submenus in Contol Panel allow direct access" bit; it was 7.5 that added submenu capability to the Apple menu; System 7.0/7.1 had no submenu on the Control Panel item. I did all this without signing in; so I was user 76.200.185.238. I forgot to sign in. Still a newbie here I guess. Ryaxnb (talk) 06:59, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please date these Operating System entries?[edit]

It would be cool to date the entries so that people can tell stuff like "who was first' at stuff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.125.191.144 (talk) 23:28, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First?[edit]

"System 7.0 was also the first version to feature the rainbow striped logo, as opposed to the black logo found in previous versions."

It was the first version of Mac OS with this logo, but wasn't GS/OS first with the color Apple menu? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.185.161.246 (talk) 16:54, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
