Not necessarily. If the reservoir name normally receives a different spelling to the dam and/or river in English, we should follow this. As it's on a national border between two states with different language traditions, that is a very possible scenario. I note that there have been several related moves already over the years [1]; Were any of these discussed, I wonder? But the important point for now is, we do not try to impose our standards of consistency on English usage here, however sensible they may seem. Andrewa (talk) 05:12, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
