Hicks[edit]

Was Edward Hicks really a member there? I know it spent much of his life as a member of Newtown Meeting (where he was buried), but that he also moved around a bit. --Ahc (talk) 03:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The cited article at USHistory.org says he attended the Yearly Meeting (see last red-bullet point, way down the page). If you think "member of the congregation" is too strong a term, you might want to re-phrase it.--BillFlis (talk) 12:23, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regular vs. "packed" gallery[edit]

There a conflict between whether a regularly formatted gallery or a packed galler is better. I contend that packed galleries look awful

Here's what I see on this article with a regular gallery

Regular gallery

And here's what I see with a "packed" gallery:

Packed gallery

The regular gallery is orderly, well balanced and presents the images at a large enough size to be seen. The packed gallery is disorderly, unbalanced, unsightly, takes up unnecessary space, and creates blocks of unsightly and unusable white space. I see absolutly no advantage to it. It looks like BillFlis fixed the problem by limiting the heights, for which we has my thanks! BMK (talk) 18:14, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
