A fact from Arenas Bridge appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 12 October 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that due to scarcity of iron in Puerto Rico, the Spanish government contracted for the Arenas Bridge(pictured) to be built by a Belgian firm in 1894, and shipped to be assembled in place?
Wikipedia:FORK says Mirrors and forks are not reliable sources and may not be listed as external links in articles. Economicexpert.com is a mirror. See the text at the bottom of each of its pages stating the article is from Wikipedia. I don't have a different source for the footnote, but perhaps someone else will find one. Okay, thanks. I put in a "citation needed" tag on the claim that there are 3 suspension bridges in PR, which was based on economicexpert article (which does indeed seem to be a 2004 copy of the wikipedia article on Bayamon, Puerto Rico, which unfortunately did not include a source for its own assertion). :( doncram (talk) 02:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
