  • Keep No one who knows about football would vote to delete this. The list of clubs played for is evidence of notability, but his notability extends way beyond that. This is a guy who has played about a hundred times for one of the top 2 or 3 footballing nations. It is very disappointing to see votes for deletion of entries like this from people who obviously neither know the subject nor have troubled themselves to do any research. I put this up for deletion when I came accross a blank page about someone I'd never heard of (I'm not a major football fan, as you might have guessed by now!). I said it should be deleted Unless it can expanded - it has certainly now been expanded so I withdraw my proposal to delete this article. Thryduulf 16:54, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Independiente Rivadavia and post-Clausura 2008 scandal, I cited the sources that confirms my information, deleted by ArielGold who considered it vandalism (don't know if he's a big Burrito Fan (Ariel on his nickname) or if he's a foreigner that just considered I made up all the story), but I'm a noob at editing with references, and it all went wrong (I used the same ref formulaes the article Kaká has, but with no success). So I humble ask if an active user could fix this issue ^^U. I'm a big fan of football, and I like Ortega way of playing and I even considered him an idol when I was young... but that doesn't interfere with real lifes issues that must be informed (this article lacks the Valencia fight with a team-mate, the reason why he was left on a free transfer by Fenerbahçe and later banned from FIFA (he didn't want to take the plane to Turkey after his last called up for Argentine National Team), and the nostalgic feeling he had while playing away from Argentina (thus, his not so brilliant european career). 190.176.4.221 (talk) 05:49, 2 September 2008 (UTC) Nido[reply]
