McStormy Nickname[edit]

Can anyone cite when this was used or mentioned? Or what establishes this as Arizona's nickname?

- DaBrain930 13:21, 27 March (UTC)

I was going to remove it myself earlier - even if she has been called it once (which I don't actually recall myself), it's not notable as a nickname in the same way McDreamy is. People are always adding silly things like "The New Burke" in the nicknames parameter in the Hahn article. Just because they're called it once in passing doesn't mean it belongs on Wikipedia. This promotion saw her become the only lesbian series regular on primetime TV.[edit]

What about Alyson Hannigan on Buffy the Vampire Slayer??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bakhsha (talkcontribs) 10:18, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the source meant at the time of her promotion, not in the entire history of television. Frickative 10:23, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

wtf[edit]

Alison hannigan wasnt a lesbian.....she was a bisexual on buffy..

Differences Torres/Robbins[edit]

Robbins is described as spouse (fiance) on the page of Torres. Why is Torres only a significant other on this page? 78.51.167.56 (talk) 05:17, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Arizona's Last Name[edit]

(I posted something similar on the Callie Torres discussion page). Hi all, I don't recall after the Callie/Arizona wedding that they took hyphenated last names. She is still referred to as "Dr. Robbins" in subsequent episodes. Therefore, in the infobox, Arizona's last name should remain solely Robbins unless this is addressed on the show. Sfufan2005 (talk) 16:00, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I do not think that they ever mentioned this however I anticipate they will make this name change in season 8 sometime. TRLIJC18 (talk) 04:24, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambigs, Refs & External

  • There are 2 Disambigs
  • Add Publishers for all References (2,3,4,5)
  • Add video to Reference 1. also does this reference work?
  • For reference 1 and 17, Capshaw isnt the author, she is the person being interviewed.
  • Fill out references.
    • That is vague, please elaborate. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:05, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Fill out references just mean adding authors, works, publishers, which you have already done! — M.Mario (T/C) 19:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

  • Everything is fine.

Lead

  • "Arizona has a "quirky" personality, and a costume designed to appeal to her young patients, including roller shoes and a HollyHobbie pink scrub cap" -> Arizona has a "quirky" personality, and is well known for wearing roller skates and a Holly Hobbie pink hat, designed to appeal to her younger patients. Link Holly Hobbie.
  • Actor names in lead (brackets).
  • "citing the addition of Capshaw as Arizona as an element of the season of which she was most proud" -> citing the addition of Capshaw to the cast as an element of the season of which she was most proud of.
  • Im not sure if the mention of Erica is needed in the Lead.

Plot

  • In my previous GA Review of Callie, you stated that you refer to characters by their surnames, however you refer to Arizona Robbins as Arizona.
    • I did not develop this article the way I did with the other characters who have GAs from me. This article was almost ready from another user, but abandoned, so I just did some minor changes and nominated. I have changed all first names to surnames. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:20, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "two embark on a relationship, but when Callie's father (Héctor Elizondo)" -> Name of the father?
  • Link Seattle.
  • "Callie is dismayed to learn that Arizona doesn't want children. They come to the conclusion that they cannot continue their relationship, as they both want different things." -> Merge sentences.
  • "However after a shooter enters Seattle Grace with a vendetta for Derek Shepherd, Lexie Grey, and Richard Webber, they are in lockdown together, and the two reconcile" -> Actor Names needed, "vendetta", needs explaining.
    • I've added actors, but I am not elaborating on vendetta. Vendetta is defined as "A blood feud in which the family of a murdered person seeks vengeance on the murderer or the murderer's family." The reason why the patient was seeking vengeance is clear, and it need not be elaborated; it has no effect on her storyline. The point was just that they were in lockdown together. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:20, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "However, a fight at the airport results in Arizona leaving for Africa without Callie, ending their relationship." -> Change Africa to Malawi.
  • "Eventually, Callie reveals that she is pregnant with Mark Sloan (Eric Dane)'s baby" -> need to explain how and why.
  • Carter Madison Grant - What?
  • "the two get in a car crash leaving Callie in critical condition" -> Odd turn of phrase.
    • I disagree. The car crash left her in critical condition. It's fine. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:20, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "As the fifth year residents are coming close to the end of their residency, Robbins urges Alex Karev to become a fellow of hers, and subsequently is involved in a plane crash, endangering her and her co-workers' lives" -> You need to go into more detail here, and explain what residency. fellow is. A lot of complicated vocab. How do they end up in a plane crash?
    • I've elaborated on Alex and Arizona, but what do you mean how did they get in a plane crash. The plane crashed—no further information was given. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:20, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Development

  • "Capshaw later extended her contract to appear in all of the season's remaining episodes" -> I dont think Capshaw extended her contract, most likely Rhimes did.
  • Italics for BuddyTV.
  • Shortly after her arrival in the show, Arizona became a love-interest for Callie Torres. Add surname of actress in brackets.
  • "What a Difference a Day Makes" sees them experience difficulties as a result of Callie's family rejecting" -> In the above, it just says her father.

Reception

  • Bailey -> Link/Actor Name.`

I'll get started on addressing the issues tomorrow. TRLIJC19 (talk) 04:58, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Everything listed is done. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:33, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Great work, I am gladfully listing this as a GA! — M.Mario (T/C) 19:47, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
