Image[edit]

This image, by Sean Philips, keeps cropping up as the iconic image and seems to touch on all the right themes so gets my vote for the accompanying image (along with an infobox) (Emperor 19:26, 12 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

That's a good picture, especially as it has Judge Steel in it too.Richard75 18:32, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright?[edit]

A large section of the Biography part of this page is copied word for word from the Judge Dredd A-Z. Does this break copyright? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.132.149 (talk) 21:24, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sentence doesn't make sense[edit]

"Although both harbour a grudging respect for each other, Steel has become Armitage's closest friend and ally." I don't know anything about these characters, having stopped reading Judge Dredd over 20 years ago, but this sentence makes no sense. If Steel were Armitage's 'closest friend and ally' then it would hardly be surprising that they harboured a 'grudging respect for each other': closest friends/allies usually respect each other. In other words, 'although' makes no sense here. You could cut it and add the words 'and indeed' before the word 'Steel', but it's still a lame sentence ('grudging respect for each other' being always 'harboured' by the individuals concerned.) Perhaps someone who knows this series can better explain the sort of relationship these two characters have with each other, and do it in a way that isn't clichéd.
