Re-write and refererencing[edit]

I have extensively re-written this article to improve the unidiomatic English and to remove the unencyclopedic, promotional tone. Note that the references still need considerable improvement as virtually all of them are simple performance listings from Operabase, etc. or from the singer's official biography at Phoenix Opera. It needs references from reliable, published sources which are completely independent of the subject, such as reviews and articles in newspapers and magazines. (They do not have to be in English.). If any editors working on this article have a personal or professional affiliation with the subject, please read WP:Conflict of interest for guidance when editing under these circumstances.
