Question[edit]

In the Death section:

"Eddie Guerrero was his best friend during his death."

What?

I'm not trying to start a war here, but Art Barr was accused of raping a teenage girl (she was 19, old enough to consent). Also, check this out:

His wrestling license in Oregon had not been renewed, not because of the case, but because he lied on his application about a drug charge as a teenager. A junior heavyweight and short in stature, there was no way that Art would ever progress in the steroid-big wrestler era of the late 80s/early 90s. WWF?[edit]

I know he had at least one tryout match with the WWF, since I was at a TV taping where this happened. Is this worth including? Smart Mark Greene (talk) 19:00, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of inaccurate information based on Chris Jericho's autobiography[edit]

I have removed two inaccurate statements, both of which falsely claim to be based on Chris Jericho's (first) autobiography, "A Lion's Tale":

  • Chris Jericho states in his autobiography... that he believed Barr's death to be an accidental pill overdose - Jericho actually states his belief that Barr died as a result of his body not knowing when to wake up as a result of long-term drug abuse, NOT an overdose.
  • Chris Jericho, who was also close to Barr at the time of his death, would, when performing in WCW in the late nineties, occasionally accuse performer Lenny Lane of stealing Jericho's Loverboy tapes in reference to a personal joke between himself and Barr - Jericho actually states that he did this once. And there is no earthly reason why a single joke by Jericho is notable enough to appear in the Personal Life section of Barr's autobiography.
