Peace offer from Germany?[edit]

No, it was put in yonks ago by me when Wikipedia wasn't so great on references. It comes from the Jenkins biography of Churchill - Jenkins examined the minutes of the crucial meetings and was astounded to find Greenwood made most of the running.
