"Interested in" vs "intrests in"[edit]

re He was also interested in railroad building in Iowa and in mining property in Leadville, Colorado. interested would indicate a intellectual curiousity on a topic to indicate that he had a financial stake in something this should be written as He also had interests in railroad building in Iowa and in mining property in Leadville, Colorado.
