Aspen/Snowmass is not a "structure," in the literal sense. The Stub marker should be changed.

Aspen Climate[edit]

The climate in Colorado, Aspen/Snowmass[1] especially, is very unpredictable. We can never know for sure what the next day's weather will bring us. Some years, first snow occurs in October or September, and other years the snow comes several months later. At higher elevations, such as Maroon Peak[2], Pyramid Peak[3]... 1st snow occurs during the beginning of September. Some nights may bring 1 or 2ft of snow in months such as October, and the very next day could reach a high in the 50's. All you need for snow are freezing temperatures and a storm, which could happen literally any time of the year here in Aspen. What I do know for a fact though, is that at nearly 8,000 ft in elevation, Aspen recieves approximately 300 inches of snow each year. Some years may double that amount, and sometimes ( but rarely ) we don't get half that amount. The snow depth here varies between 2-5 or 6 ft in the winter time. March is the wettest month, and brings 2.66 inches of precipitation, followed by February, which brings the most snow, and an average snow depth around 30 inches. Aspen also gets about 300 days of sunshine, which makes the skiing here fantastic!!!
