Rhesper is an Aussie punk band formed in Sydney, Australia in 2017. It was founded by lead singer and guitarist Ari Chamberline and bassist Dian Fattah III. Rhesper went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting and best-known being Dendy Joe, who joined in 2019. Their music maintains a popular following and continues to influence noise music in 2020.

Rhesper established itself as part of the Sydney Progressive Rock scene, releasing its first album, The Green Bullet, for the old record label Qotrun Records in 2019. They developed a sound that relied on dynamic range, often between quiet verses and darkness, falseto Gothic choruses.

Rhesper found unexpected mainstream worldwide success with "Violet", "Love Buzz (Originally by Shocking Blue) is the top hits single, I'll Write You (Lavadora) album, and "Rape Me Again".
