Speedy deletion[edit]

This article was nominated as having little or no context. I have removed speedy deletion as it is capable of being expanded as per this Google News Archive search. [1] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Capitalistroadster (talkcontribs) 16:49, 12 April 2007 (UTC-7)

I think that was the right call. The article is very stubby, but the books are hugely popular in the United Kingdom, and an article on them is probably justified. I'll try and bulk up the article a bit. My son loves them, so I supposed I am as qualified as anyone to do the research and put it in. --Legis (talk - contribs) 12:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have put a bit more detail in. Is anyone able to ascertain sales figures for the Astrosaurs series? I know they are very popular in the UK, but the basis for my knowledge is the man in the shop warning me that new releases sell out extremely fast so to get there early, which is scarcely encyclopediac. Does anyone have access to hard figures that could be put in? --Legis (talk - contribs) 10:19, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would like people to give this article a bit more. How about putting Images of all the Astrosaurs books on to it? I started this article a few months ago. Try to include images of the collector cards. User: Woggy

Improvements for Astrosaurs Article[edit]

This Article is quite small and i think that it needs to be bigger below this message is a link to the Next Astrosaurs book (Claws of Christmas) Image. I don't know how to get images on so could one of you do it? Also we could put more images of the books onto this article, We could put text in about the other series Cows In Action, Which isn't that popular yet because it just started this year. We could also put information about some of the Astrosaurs books on this article as well. Have any of you got any ideas for this article, Because i think you will all agree that its very small, And we need to expand it you will get images of Astrosaurs from official tesco website and official wh smith website Here is the link to the Claws of Christmas book cover. The Claws of Christmas book cover (Woggy 07:00, 15 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Although this reply, or any sort of reply is somewhat late, a Cows in Action section is not a good idea for this article, because this article is called Astrosaurs not Astrosaurus & Cows in Action series (or something like that) which is why I've removed it. Besides, Cows in Action has its own article, and as for getting images, I doubt that's going to happen since at least 6 images related to this article were deleted for failing Wikipedia's image guidelines. --Andromedabluesphere440 (talk) 11:44, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Classification as start[edit]

I have classified this article as a start due to its level of organisation and detail. It needs to be sourced but congratulations to those who have expanded the article. Capitalistroadster 20:21, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Improvements for article[edit]

This article is a short article, And no doubt needs expanding i have a few ideas for the article. We could put images of all of the books on this article, We could also put in an image of the 12th Book The Sun Snatchers available at Amazon website just type in Astrosaurs the sun snatchers and you should get to the image. Also we could put in a bit about Cows In Action, A new series That started this year by Steve Cole I am going to improve the article and make it bigger. If you have any ideas for improving this article, Then do improve it, Because it needs expanding. (Woggy 07:14, 15 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Astrosaur - Arx.jpg[edit]

Image:Astrosaur - Arx.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Astrosaurs[edit]

Not much people have been paying attention to this article lately. I edited it a little bit. I hear that the article lacks sources, but what exactly are they supposed to be? if sources means websites that link to the article, then i am sorry, but the only 2 sources i can find are the Random House website and the Astrosaurs website. (Shadowmoon13 (talk) 15:38, 23 December 2007 (UTC)) The Astrosaurs website has now be intergrated with the Random House website.81.20.187.182 (talk) 06:44, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Astrosaurs/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I have rated it as a start due to its level of detail and organisation. Its main weakness is the lack of sources. Capitalistroadster 20:42, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
