Naming[edit]

As per my project to unify the naming conventions on Handel oratrorios, I'm going to move this page to "Athalia (Handel)" early next week. Any objections? Fred 16:14, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Third oratorio?[edit]

Regarding Handel's oratorio Athalia, if it really is "his third in this genre", there should be some explanation as to why that doesn't tally with the list of oratorios presented on the right-hand-side of the page. HWV 258 22:25, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re-writing article, removed long section with list of every aria and recit[edit]

I don't see the value of a huge long list of every section in the score with nothing said about it but the opening words of every aria, recit, duet, chorus, etc. so I took it out. Am re-writing the article generally.Smeat75 (talk) 04:45, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Looking around at other articles on oratorios and Passions I see a lot of them have similar sections, so I put that catalogue of every "number" back in,as it seems someone must think such things are valuable.Smeat75 (talk) 05:21, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
