Another Athleague in Ireland?[edit]
I've run across "Civil Parish of Athleague, in the Barony of Killian, in the County of Galway", but here I think is an indication that it's one civil parish of Athleague that crosses the Baronies of Killian in Galway and the Barony of Athlone in Roscommon.[1]. But here [2] it seems, in more detail, to suggest that there's now a civil parish of Anthleague in Killian and another civil parish abutting it and of the same name in the newly? divided Athlone North in Roscommon, and also an Athleague townland in Athlone North that is not coextensive with the Athleague civil parish in Athlone North. Someone who knows how to interpret this sort of Irish jurisdictional stuff better than me should probably take a look at this and figure out what we need to do encyclopedically. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:42, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
